I hear from loads of my fellow authors, especially those who are starting out who want help, advice, support, etc, and I love passing on what I know - although it's not much!
I can't look at manuscripts - full time authoring doesn't leave me much spare time, but I'm not the best judge of your work, anyway. You are! Imagine if you asked somebody's opinion on your fledgling authoring and they didn't like what you wrote. (Remember some people don't like chocolate or doughnuts or any other thing which you think is amazing!) Imagine their opinion put you off ever writing again. Imagine all the great books that you wouldn't write because of one person's opinion.
I know what it's like to be new and want validation and permission and support. But you can do it. Don't give anybody else power over you and your life.
If you are ready to be an author - have faith in yourself. You can do it - write the book. Get it edited. Get a cover. Publish. You can do it. You don't need me or any other author to look at your work.
The best thing I can do is share the resources that help me. So here you go...!
